Question by Ducky S: Dental Veneers?
I would like to get veneers performed, but I have no additional cash and extremely poor credit…does anybody know a way to have those done for little or no dollars? Serious answers only, please.

Dental veneers are extremely high-priced and can be really bad for your existing teeth. I have seen news reports about cosmetic dentists who apply these veneers and they end up grinding down the teeth underneath to the point there is virtually nothing left of them. Not to mention you can suffer severe gum infections if the dentist you go to doesn’t actually know what they are performing. They even said some of these dentists send away for pamphlets to put in their waiting rooms along with books showing before and after pictures to mislead clients into thinking they performed the actual cosmetic procedures. I was thinking of acquiring them done someday too due to damage carried out to my teeth from medications and poor nutrition but after seeing what happened to some men and women who have had veneers, I have decided against it. Not to mention, even if you find a qualified professional they can run you over $ 1,000 per tooth….and if you can’t qualify for credit of borrow funds from a relative my only suggestion would be if you get a tax refund maybe you could save that dollars up.

When I was contemplating it though, the orthodontist I spoke to who is affiliated with the periodontist said that they recommend doing the four front teeth on the top and bottom because the texture of the veneers will be slightly thicker than your natural teeth and you want to do the teeth that will show the most….so plan on saving up alot of cash.
